Purpose: The role of the sacristan is to oversee and keep in good order the worship space and the sacristy. A sacristan must have reverence for the sanctuary and for all articles and sacred vessels used in worship and liturgical activities. The sacristan is the person who is appointed to be available to prepare everything needed for the liturgy. 

Time Commitment: You can request to serve a particular Mass: Saturday 4:45, Sunday 7:15, 9:30, 11:30 or 6:00. A four-month schedule is prepared in advance and is based on the volunteer’s feedback and availability. 

Qualifications: Practicing Catholic, reverence for the sacristy and familiarity with the parts of the Mass.
