Purpose: To provide comfort to the bereaved and address the needs of, and coordinate with, the family in the preparation for the wake, funeral Mass, graveside or funeral home services. 

Time Commitment for Volunteers: 2 to 2 . hours. Set up and clean up. More time if the wake is at church. 

Qualifications for Volunteers: Compassionate, flexible and able to deal with very sad situations.
