Purpose: To provide the Holy Eucharist and visitations on Sundays to residents at local assisted living facilities and those convalescing at local healthcare facilities. Specifically, at Avalon of Hillsborough Assisted, a Holy Eucharistic Service is provided to an assembled group of active senior residents. Room to room visits are provided as needed. At Bridgeway Healthcare of Hillsborough, room to room visits or small groups services are made. 

Time Commitment: Following in-service training by observation and gradual participation, assignment will be made to a team of three, which is assigned approximately every other Sunday. The team is dismissed and blessed following the distribution of the Holy Eucharist at the 9:30 AM Mass. Typically, we are completed by 12 noon. 

Qualifications: Must be trained as a Eucharistic Minister (min. age 18 years); an open heart to share your faith with our respected seniors and the infirmed
