Purpose: To assist the Priest during Mass as necessary. Specific functions include dressing the altar, holding the book for the Priest to read, assisting with washing the Priest’s hands, starting the Mass by processing in with the Cross and Candles and ending the Mass by bringing them out. 

Time Commitment for Volunteers: Initial training of approximately 1-1/2 hours, followed by three Mass observations; once trained, serve two Masses per month 

Qualifications: Must have received First Communion and be in Grade 4 or higher
